The beach is 3.7 km away, just under ten minutes by car, and to the north we have Sierra Nevadawith some of Europe best ski slopes about an hour and half away. The nearest health center open 24 hours a day is down in Castell de Ferro, the nearest hospital in Motril about 30 minutes away, and the nearest airport is to the east in Almería just over an hour away, or to the west in Málaga an hour and a half away.
