Don't miss this opportunity to move to the quiet life of a large townhouse in a Spanish village, with mountains all around and the Mediterranean Sea down the hillside. The house is located one block from Gualcho's picturesque squares and streets, with less than 10 minutes drive from the beach in Castell de Ferro.
Welcome to a spacious traditional-style house in an equally traditional village, with high ceilings and lots of light, where from the roof terrace you can look out over the mountains, and that timeless combination that only Mediterranean villages can offer, where the gentle rhythm is only occasionally shaken by a lively fiesta in the town plaza on holidays.
The property consists of a building in very good condition, with traditional charm and modern comfort. A large door leads into the first floor with unusually high ceilings via a spacious entrance hall, to a good-sized kitchen in great condition, a combined WC and laundry room, and a beautiful and well thought out living room with fireplace and big windows that let in lots of light and air. These are truly spaces created to enjoy tranquility, alone or in good company. The staircase leads up to a smaller living room with a balcony, which connects the three bedrooms, also in thoughtful design, and a bathroom with a smaller balcony. At the top we find the crown of the house, a terrace from which you can enjoy the view of the village and mountains, while sitting in the sun, feeling the breeze from the Mediterranean.
The house is located in the hills of Gualchos, which slope down to the Mediterranean Sea. There is a small supermarket in Gualchos, and to do the shopping you only need to go down to Castell de Ferro. The beach is 3.7 km away or less than ten minutes by car, and to the north is the Sierra Nevada with some of Europe's best skiing, around an hour and a half away. Small medical center is in Gualchos while the nearest medical center open 24 hours a day is down in Castell de Ferro, the nearest hospital in Motril about 30 minutes away, and the nearest airport is to the east in Almería just over an hour away, or to the west in Málaga an hour and a half away. There is also a bar, restaurant, ATM, school, BnB, all just a minute's walk from the house.
