Would I recommend using homes-abroad.com as a partner in the process of buying a home in Spain? The answer is yes!

Especially considering having to purchase a property in another country for the first time. I think it has added value to have a locally known partner, such as homes-abroad.com by my side during my home purchase in Barcelona.

The purely practical thing of finding the homes that matched my needs and arranging viewings with two handfuls of properties squeezed in in two days, went smoothly. Here was a nice dialogue with the team, who actually got a good idea of what was important to me while keeping the visitor list 100% updated, when new things appeared and some of the planned topics disappeared from the market, before my planned visit.

During the viewing trip I actually found the right apartment in the first round and with help from homes-abroad.com we closed the deal - here I have been happy to have a locally known broker on my side who can both navigate the process but also help to confirm / deny many of the questions and uncertainties that arise in connection with such a large decision in another country where I myself had no experience to draw on.

Furthermore, I can highly recommend having a partner like homes-abroad during the journey, so that you had a common understanding of the language around a real estate transaction as well as the premises for many of the questions about the differences between a Danish and a Spanish real estate transaction.
