In January this year, having spent several months discussing and researching the Spanish property market, my husband and I decided finally to make a viewing trip and met with Mark Maskell from Homes Abroad at their Pinar de Campoverde office situated in the south of Costa Blanca.

Despite our best efforts we were still very uncertain when we arrived on the Costa Blanca and an earlier meeting with another agent did nothing to change this. However Mark helped us to work through many of these uncertainties as he was extremely knowledgeable not just about the process of buying property but about living in the area. He was able to answer our many questions but also posed some that we had not thought about.

We had a very successful initial viewing day and saw a variety of properties and locations and although we had not planned a second day, when we requested it Mark managed to organise several more viewings at very short notice.

Mark is very professional in his approach but is also extremely personable and friendly making it easy to work with him. He also has the ability to quickly gauge the needs of the client in order to show the correct properties in what was for us a time pressured visit.

Our visit was a successful one and through Homes Abroad we found a property that we are delighted with. Homes Abroad has continued to provide guidance and support post purchase which has been invaluable to first time buyers in Spain.
