After having got the idea of a permanent holiday home in Spain, we contacted Homes-abroad.com 
We had looked through several websites and they seemed to be the most credible and clear. A phone conversation with Lotte from their Costa del sol office, who wanted to know more in details what we were looking for and we were on the way. It turned into 2 inspection trips where we saw approx. 15-16 apartments. A good mix of Lotte's suggestions, and some we had found online ourselves.

We were actually not familiar with the Costa del Sol, but the area around Mijas, seemed to be a place we could see ourselves in. We were picked up by Lotte who was sweet to drive us around for all the viewings. We also gained insight into what initiatives were ahead for each of the areas. The days were perfectly planned, with the meetings with the other brokers and builders. There was no waste time.

From the time we found our dream home and until we got the keys only 3 months went by. So, it was perfect.
We chose to let homes-abroad.com stand for the whole thing during the purchase. We were contacted by both Lawyer and bank in our own language which was important to us as we do not understand or speak Spanish. It all went smoothly and without problems.

Now we just enjoy traveling down to "our own holiday home in Spain" and we look forward to it every time.
